Stage 1 Training

Avery Dennison together with Ball & Doggett is delighted to offer a workshop designed to put you in the driver’s seat and steer you in the right direction. 

Vehicle graphics and wraps are some of the most challenging and demanding applications and require a specialized skill set to ensure they stand the test of time. 

Stage 1: Introduction to Fleet Branding & Advertising Graphic Installation

This course is designed to ensure participants understand all the variables involved with this critical application and have the confidence to provide customers with a sound, professional and durable solution that looks great.

Starting with an overview of the key considerations and techniques for fleet branding and advertising graphic installation, we move on to cover a very concise curriculum that covers a broad spectrum of techniques. The workshop is predominantly hands-on training (80%) and will provide knowledge for making the application process quicker and easier while pointing out the critical areas of importance in this specialised field.

Avery Dennison is dedicated to providing high-quality technical support and training to users of all its products. This is achieved by Avery Dennison technical staff being on hand whenever you need them. All Avery Dennison workshops are led by an experienced Avery Dennison product specialist along with an industry-leading professional Certified Trainer.


Learning Objectives 

    • Gain insight into Avery Dennison’s range of cast digital print films, understanding their warranties, as well as unique features and benefits.
    • Acquire the knowledge necessary for installing partial Fleet Branding & Advertising graphics and cut lettering.
    • Develop essential skills encompassing proper cleaning and preparation, precise positioning and alignment of graphic elements.
    • Master the application and finishing techniques for digitally printed films to ensure a tidy and resilient outcome, including handling corners, tucking, trimming, and employing post-heating methods.
Upon completion of the 1-day training program, participants will have successfully applied digital print film and cut graphics to two vehicles. They will also have obtained foundational skills and competency to initiate partial vehicle wraps and graphic element installations.
